SwebApps Rich Internet App is online!

After 2 months of extremely hard work, we are very proud to announce that the new Rich Internet App we developed for SwebApps is finally online!

The Challenge

SwebApps launched 5 week ago, the news got picked up quickly and SwebApps was featured on TIME, Wall Street Journal, CNN (via GigaOM), Mashable and PC Magazine. Magaly Chocano, founder and CEO of the company contacted us to solve a specific problem: the building and purchase process of an App at SwebApps was a 6-step process, confusing some clients and causing potential sells. Chocano wanted us to reduce this online experience to a 2-step process. We love challenges.

Our Solution

It’s as simple as it sounds: on the first screen you choose the category of the App you want to build, and you can preview all of the available buttons for that category:

Once you choose your App category, you get to the 2nd screen in which you can select 4, 6 or 8 buttons, you can drag them to the iPhone, select Extras and configure the contents of each button you selected. You can even change the background color of your App or upload a background image. Finally you checkout and your App is ready to go to Apple’s App Store:

Future releases will let the users update their App contents even if it’s already published. We would LOVE to hear opinions, suggestions and comments on twitter.
